The Council

The Council is responsible for leading the organization to engage in activities that will uphold our main objective:

'To encourage the highest standards in the art of both singing and singing teaching.'

Ten councillors from four regions are elected for a term of three years. The regions are

Upper North Island.
Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty

Lower North Island..
Taranaki,Hawkes Bay, Wairarapa,Wellington

Upper South Island..
Nelson, Marlborough,Canterbury, South Canterbury,West Coast

Lower South Island..
Otago, Southland,Stewart Island
