NEWZATS is the established and trusted professional development network for voice teachers in Aotearoa New Zealand, dedicated to supporting, developing and connecting the singing teaching profession throughout the country.

Voice teachers can often feel isolated in their teaching studios and classrooms, but when you become a NEWZATS member, you:

Full Associate Membership

  • $130 per annum*

  • Available to those who are teaching singing, with three or more years' experience​​

  • By becoming a member you are bound by our Constitution and Code of Ethics

Students and Beginner Teacher Full Membership

  • $60 per annum*

  • Available to those who are training in singing related fields, or those who are teaching singing with less than three years' experience

  • By becoming a member you are bound
    ​by our Constitution and Code of Ethics

Retired or Affiliate Membership

  • $60 per annum*

  • Available to those involved in activities associated with voice teaching

  • ​By becoming a member you are bound by our Constitution and Code of Ethics​

* Joining part-way through the year has a pro-rated (monthly) fee.

When your application is processed, we will invoice you.

Joining partway through the year has a quarterly pro-rated fee. (Financial year 1 April - 31 March).
Full membership:  $11 per month left until March.
Student, Beginner Teacher, Affiliate or Retired membership:  $5 per month left until March
